in El Paso
Thank you, El Paso, for the amazing turnout at our Work Safe, Texas Summit. Panelists and audience members were able to share safety best practices across industries, raise awareness about workplace safety and help employers enhance their safety programs. It’s all part of Texas Mutual’s commitment to creating a safe workplace for all Texans.
- Pat Niekamp, publisher of the Texas CEO Magazine, moderated the panel discussion featuring Eddie Caro, Safety Director at RM Personnel; Juan Beltran, Safety Director at Belt Con Construction Masonry; and Thad Steele, President at T&T Staff Management, Inc.
- Eric Bourquin, Texas Mutual’s VP of Safety Services, talked about the latest OSHA regulations and how to survive an OSHA audit.
- Jeremiah Bentley, VP of Marketing & Customer Engagement at Texas Mutual, introduced Safety in a Box, a virtual reality app that allows users to experience construction’s deadliest accidents in a safe environment.
At this event, we were very fortunate to be joined by El Paso’s own Jesus ‘Chuy’ Duarte. Chuy is a survivor of a catastrophic workplace driving accident, and his story is one of determination and hope: that with the right support, workers can recover from severe injuries and return to a productive and rewarding life.
